Testimonials

"I have done yoga throughout my life. Being able to do gentle yoga online and in person with Liz has been incredibly beneficial for my physical and emotional health. Her background as a Physical Therapist is very apparent in her lessons. She is very kind and welcoming. Her manner of communicating is clear and her voice is calming. I think anyone who is interested in improving their health and wellbeing would benefit from joining Liz’s classes either in person or online."

"I am so glad that I am taking Chair Yoga classes with Liz Quinlisk. The classes have improved my stress levels and especially my balance issues. She makes the class interesting while explaining which muscles we are using. The classes are never the same routine so it does not become boring! Not only can you take her classes in person she provides a website to practice on your own which is especially helpful. I would highly recommend taking Liz’s Chair yoga classes!!! I am grateful for her class!"

"Your yoga has literally changed my life in a few short weeks. I know I already said thank you, but I wanted to tell you how it has impacted my physical and mental state! I was able to walk the golf course for 18 holes today with no pain and no loss of breath. I’ve been taking a cart to play golf for the last year and a half, because I felt weak and unable. It was embarrassing, because other ladies were walking the whole course while I rode in the cart. I was really feeling down about that. But now I am so excited to be feeling strong and able to do the things I did in my early 50s! 👏🏻🙏🏻💕 "

About Me

Hi! I'm Liz Quinlisk, a physical therapist and yoga teacher. I specialize in teaching therapeutic and gentle yoga to older adults. I've been practicing yoga for over 30 years and love how it makes me feel. I'm happy to share this practice with others so that they can experience the benefits of yoga.

My experience as a physical therapist gives me the knowledge and expertise needed to create a therapeutic, safe, well-paced class, especially for people over 60 - or anyone who wants a gentle, slower-paced practice.

I use a therapeutic and gentle approach in my teaching with a focus on mindfulness, breath awareness, and improving strength, balance, and mobility.
