Testimonials

"Your yoga has literally changed my life in a few short weeks. I know I already said thank you, but I wanted to tell you how it has impacted my physical and mental state! I was able to walk the golf course for 18 holes today with no pain and no loss of breath. I’ve been taking a cart to play golf for the last year and a half, because I felt weak and unable. It was embarrassing, because other ladies were walking the whole course while I rode in the cart. I was really feeling down about that. But now I am so excited to be feeling strong and able to do the things I did in my early 50s! 👏🏻🙏🏻💕 "

"I never expected to like it. Yoga to me meant flexibility and that’s not my strong suit. Liz is amazing. She is very encouraging and always offers modifications. This class has worked wonders for my arthritis. I feel so much better after a class. The benefits go beyond physical. It is one of my favorite hours of the week. You can quiet and focus your mind. I strongly recommend yoga with Liz to anyone. It will improve the quality of your life."

"I love practicing yoga with a teacher who is also a physical therapist! I have knee and shoulder issues, so I greatly appreciate Liz's gentle classes that allow me to customize as needed. Liz has a very calming presence and clearly knows effective, safe ways for us to move our bodies during yoga class."

About Me

Hi! I'm Liz Quinlisk, a physical therapist and yoga teacher. I specialize in teaching therapeutic and gentle yoga to older adults. I've been practicing yoga for over 30 years and love how it makes me feel. I'm happy to share this practice with others so that they can experience the benefits of yoga.

My experience as a physical therapist gives me the knowledge and expertise needed to create a therapeutic, safe, well-paced class, especially for people over 60 - or anyone who wants a gentle, slower-paced practice.

I use a therapeutic and gentle approach in my teaching with a focus on mindfulness, breath awareness, and improving strength, balance, and mobility.
